METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
High pressure remained in control Monday keeping skies clear and allowing temperatures to climb near 90 inland and near 70 along the coast.
Tuesday will be almost identical to Monday. Skies will mostly clear inland with high temperatures near 90 iland. The coast will keep a few more clouds, especially in the morning, and highs will remain in the upper 60s.
An upper level low sitting off the California coast will move into southeastern Oregon, Wednesday and Thursday. This will support thunderstorm development in the Cascades, including the mountains in Douglas County, each afternoon.
Next weekend is looking “cooler” with high temps closer to 80 degrees inland and mid 60s along the coast.
Have a terriffic Tuesday!
