SPRINGFIELD, Ore– The Springfield City Club is holding a forum Thursday to allow community members to get to know the two candidates running for the House District 12 seat.
The Oregon House of Representatives is evenly split along party lines, and the race for District 12, which covers the Springfield area, will determine which party will gain control of the state House.
Joe Pishioneri is the Republican nominee, and John Lively is the Democratic candidate.
The forum will be held at the Willamalane Center, located at 250 S. 32nd St in Springfield. It begins Thursday at 11:45am until 1pm.
Admission is $10 for non- Springfield Club members. Be sure to RSVP at http://www.springfieldcityclub.org/, as seating will be limited.
