Linn County, Ore. — Oregon State Police cited 41-Year old Paul Radanich of Corvallis after he eluded them on an 11-mile car chase.
Early Sunday morning police say they received complaints about a man’s reckless driving on I-5 near Milepost 223.
Minutes later police say the the driver being complained about, Radanich, called police himself.
Radanich said he had been drugged and was having other issues.
After finding and pulling Radanich over, officers say he sped off.
Radanich reportedly hit speeds over 80 miles per hour and avoided spike strips.
Eventually police say he surrendered on Diamond Hill Drive without incident.
He was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.
Radanich was cited for felony attempt to elude in a vehicle, reckless driving, and driving without a licence.
He has been released.
