video preview image

EUGENE, Ore. — You can join the cause and help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

By 2025 the number of Americans age 65 and older with Alzheimer’s is estimated to be 7.1 million. That’s unless a medical breakthrough can be developed to prevent, slow or stop the disease.

Money is needed to fund research.

Nancy NesSmith of Home Instead Senior Care dropped by the KEZI 9 News in the Morning studio to discuss this Sunday’s Alzheimer’s Walk. The goal is to raise $53,000.
