Interview: Cancer Prevention Study

EUGENE, Ore. — There’s still a chance to be part of a unique opportunity to help find a cure for cancer.

The American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3 is a long term study tracking participants over the next 25 to 30 years. The study‚Äôs goal is to understand what causes cancer and what can be done to prevent it.

Pat Cookson, with the American Cancer Society, stopped by KEZI 9 News this Morning to discuss how viewers can enroll.

Enrollment for the study is August 20-24; anyone between the ages of 30 and 65 years old who has not been diagnosed with cancer can enroll.
