Interview: El Grito Celebration

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Flags from around the world will be flying in Springfield on Sunday. It’s part of the first¬†annual El Grito event, where anyone who attends can celebrate the national pride and heritage of all diverse people. Those who attend should bring a country flag and can enjoy free music and cultural performances.

Springfield Mayor Christine Lundberg joined us live in the studio at KEZI 9 News This Morning to tell us more about the event.

El Grito starts at 7 p.m. September 15 at the Springfield City Hall Fountain Plaza.

    looks like we are officaly in mexico all these latin celebrations where is the irish or german or dutch celebrations oh thats right not in little mexico and most are illegals
