EUGENE, Ore. — Crews have been working around the clock trying to get everyone back online.
EWEB crews were out on Saratoga in southeast Eugene repairing downed lines in two different back yards.
With no real room to put out basket cranes, linemen have to actually climb the poles to do the work.
EWEB says the weather has created a big mess that just keeps coming.
“What we’re finding now is that we’re repairing lines and we’re getting people power. But as quickly as we’re getting some people power, other people trees are going down and we’re discovering more lines that have failed,” said Mark Maguire, EWEB Safety Supervisor.
EWEB spokesman Joe Harwood gave us an update on how crews are doing. Click on the video above to listen to our interview.
