Interview: Girl Scout Leaders Needed

EUGENE, Ore. — It’s a rite of passage for so many girls in the United States.

We’re talking about their time as Girl Scouts. Unfortunately, in Lane County there is a shortage of leaders, which means┬ásome girls are missing out on the opportunity to have that memorable childhood experience.

Two scout leaders from Springfield dropped by the KEZI 9 News in the Morning studio to discuss the problem, along with ways in which women can get involved.
