Isolated Showers Continue Tuesday

METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:

The storm that brought showers Monday moves into northern California Tuesday. Showers will wrap around this storm and move into the area Tuesday afternoon. Showers will be snow showers in the Cascades above 3,500 feet. 3-6″ of snow is expected at the ski resorts and 1-3″ at the passes.

The storm will move to the east Wednesday, which will end the showers across our area. Skies will be partly sunny Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.

A weak disturbance will move across the area Thursday. This disturbance won’t have much moisture with it, so showers will mainly stick to the western slopes of the Cascades. A few showers could bring some showers to the rest of the area Thursday afternoon.

We’ll have another, small break from the wet weather Friday before another storm moves in Saturday.

Have a wonderful week!
