The company has released a new 30-second ad on its YouTube channel saying it has made mistakes and wants its customers to return.
The ad is called “It’s No Secret” and says the company listened to what customers had to say after it changed some selling strategies. It says Penney’s has learned a valuable lesson.
The ad signals it will get rid of many of the changes, including its current logo. It ends with the old one.
JC Penney hasn’t said when the ad will air on TV.
