EUGENE, Ore. — A jury says a Eugene man tried to kill another man by running him over with a truck.
Jurors handed down their verdict Thursday. They found Frank Ochoa guilty on several charges, including attempted murder and assault. But they found him not guilty of trying to kill his estranged wife.
Investigators say Ochoa used his pickup to rundown the victim and his dog.
The victim survived, but the crash killed the dog.
