Kelly Meets with Eagles for Nine Hours

EUGENE, Ore. — Saturday came and went without Chip Kelly agreeing to a deal with an NFL team.

According to several reports, Kelly met with the Philadelphia Eagles for nine hours in Arizona but no deal was reached.

Kelly was scheduled to have a second meeting with the Browns but missed that meeting due to his interview with the Eagles.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Chip Kelly and the Browns were “close to a deal”.

The Buffalo Bills also announced on their official website that they interviewed Kelly.

As of Saturday night, the three teams Kelly is known to have met with are Philadelphia, Cleveland and Buffalo.
