On Wednesday, it opened it. ShelterCare received the keys to a new car from Kendall Subaru. The two-year lease was awarded as part of the auto group’s 12 Days of Caring program.
The new car will be used by ShelterCare’s new community health worker to drive clients to and from medical appointments.
“We do this work together, it’s companies like Kendall, the individuals and business supporters out in the community who make this work possible and we are incredibly grateful,” said Lucy Vinis, ShelterCare Executive Director.
ShelterCare was one of nine charities nominated by fans of Kendall’s Facebook page.
