EUGENE, Ore. —┬áThe new school year means a new drive to donate money from the folks at Kendall Auto Group. Kendall’s Drive for Education program will donate more than a quarter of a million dollars this year to local schools. The donations will come down monthly, and will go to the education foundation of each school. This year the family-owned company expanded its generosity.

“We’re really excited because we’ve done this program since 2012, but we haven’t been able to include Springfield schools, so this is the first year with Springfield included and we couldn’t be more excited to have them be a part of this,” Chelsea Lee said.

Kendall hosted a kickoff event Tuesday night. The top attending school at the event earned an additional fund for their school.
