It’s called Share the Love. Kendall Subaru has been donating money to national charities for the past five years–$250 for every new car sold in December. But this year they’re also donating to ShelterCare, a Lane County organization that helps prevent families from becoming homeless. They say they’re thrilled to be able to get more funds that will directly help their cause.
“Two-hundred and fifty dollars could help pay back rent. It could pay a utility bill. It could pay a medical bill. It could pay any number of things that are holding people back from stabilizing their lives,” said Lucy Vinis, ShelterCare Development Director.
For every car sold between now and Jan. 2, Kendall Subaru will make a donation to the charity of the buyer’s choice.
