EUGENE, Ore. — Kids lined up bright and early for a special meeting with Santa Saturday morning. The Valley River Center Mall, along with KEZI 9 News Anchor Matt Templeman, hosted its Annual Breakfast with Santa event that day. And there was definitely plenty of holiday spirit and magic in the air.
Jolly old Saint Nick also swapped out his Santa sleigh for a Mini Cooper to make his grand entrance. Kids said there were many reasons why this was such a fun event.
Santa fan Isaiah Hill said, “The best part is eating food.”
“It’s almost christmas time and we get to have a picture with Santa and presents and stuff,” said fellow fan Angelina Cary.
And another breakfast guest, Caitlin Banning, said, “It’s just a really great time for our family to get together and spend time together.”
After breakfast, families made there way down to the mall center for pictures.
