Kids Show Appreciation for Teachers

KENDALL DRIVE FOR EDUCATIONEUGENE, Ore. — Students have a chance to show their teachers how much they appreciate them.

First graders through high schooler’s in Eugene and Springfield can nominate their teacher for a big award by submitting an essay, poem, or writing a thank you card.

It’s part of the Kendall Auto Group’s Drive for Education. They say teachers play a big part in kids lives, and they want to show their appreciation.

“I think it’s just important to recognize our teachers that make a big difference in our lives it’s just a fun way for the kids to recognize them and we also get to recognize the students as well,” said Amy Newport of Kendall Auto Group.
