Landslide on Highway 138 Causes Delays

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. — The first round of winter storms is already taking a toll on Oregon roads.

The North Umpqua Highway was reduced to one lane, following a landslide Sunday morning.

ODOT says nearly 400 yards of material fell onto the eastbound lanes of Oregon 138.

Maintenance crews are cleaning up the mess and flaggers are in place for traffic control. ODOT says expect brief traffic delays.
