The picture covers the side of a building. Students and faculty say it adds a lot of color to the campus. The mural represents diversity.
“I thought about what to do with it and researched symbols from cultures around the world, sort of by region and broke it all down and then kind of wrapped all of them together into a large composition that kind of goes into a landscape showing that cultures are infused into our landscape,” said artist Tom Madison.
The mural started as a class project, and soon enough more volunteers were brought in to help complete it.
The work was officially unveiled about an hour ago.
