EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane County Fair kicks off at 11:00 Wednesday morning. Season passes are still available for $20 at any Carl’s Jr. restaurant or $25 at the fair.
Fair vendors were busy Tuesday setting up and trying to stay cool. Because of the expected high temperatures, fair organizers have already planned for some much-needed relief. They’ve set up plenty of cooling stations and areas with shade. Rachel Bivens with the fair’s marketing team says they’re prepared with plenty of spots to get water, extra shade tents, and air conditioning for the indoor exhibits.
