Lane County Public Safety Meeting Monday

VENETA, Ore. — Lane County Commissioner Jay Bozievich will host the first town hall meeting to discuss the current state of the county’s public safety system.

The public is invited to come voice their thoughts on what part of the public safety system is most important to them and ideas for improving it.

Representatives from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office will also be present.

The hour-long presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Veneta City Hall building, located at 88184 8th St. in Veneta.

The next town hall meeting will be Thursday, Dec. 6 in Santa Clara.

    This is a great idea. The problem? It’s in Veneta. I think there should be a town hall in every city in Lane County so we can ALL get the scoop, find out what’s happening and maybe even provide some solutions to the problem.
