LCC, 4J Aim to Help College Transition

EUGENE, Ore. — A partnership between Lane Community College and the 4J School District aims to help students transition to college.

The Early College and Career Options program allows students to finish high school in a different environment.

Currently, 200 students are enrolled in the program at Parker Elementary School, but program leaders want to move it to the main LCC campus.

They say the move will make high education more accessible and maybe encourage more students to go to college.
