Lebanon Burglary Suspect Arrested

LEBANON, Ore. — Police arrested an Albany man in connection with a burglary at M2 Outdoor Sports.

Someone called officers Sunday morning and was able to keep their eye on him until police arrived.

Police say the suspect possibly threw a brick through the business’ glass door and disabled the alarm before going inside. They say several hunting-related items and some cash were stolen.

Police arrested Howard Leonard Mehaffey, of Albany, who is currently on probation with Clackamas County. He is charged with second-degree burglary. He was lodged in the Linn County Jail.
