Library Hosts Youth Talent Show

EUGENE, Ore. — Kids of all ages have the chance to show off their talents this week at the Eugene’s Got Talent Youth Show.

Children 7 to 17 years old can compete in the show.

This Wednesday there will be signups at the library in downtown Eugene beginning at 3:30 p.m. The auditions start at 4 p.m.

Organizers say it’s about honoring the kids.

“To celebrate all the readers that we’ve been enjoying through the summer and all of them together at once to make them the stars of the community in this conclusion of the summer,” said Claire Ribaud, Eugene Public Library Spokeswoman.

Talent acts are limited to three minutes. The actual talent show is Thursday, Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. at the downtown library.
