It kicked off Wednesday afternoon in Albany with carnival rides, fair food and entertainment.
You can even “take a walk on the wild side” and meet a baby tiger and other animals.
Organizers say there is something at the fair for everyone.
“We have misters, so you can get cooled off during the fair too! So it’s a great event, and I’m very proud to be a part of it,” said Jan Taylor, Linn County Fair spokesperson.
Jo Dee Messina takes the stage Wednesday, free with your general fair admission.
