Coos BayCOOS BAY, Ore. — A proposed liquefied natural gas terminal at Coos Bay is one step closer to reality.

The U.S. Department of Energy gave the project conditional approval.

The proposed Jordan Cove LNG terminal is the seventh project to get authorization, but the start of exports could still be years away.
