Local Crew Returns Power on East Coast

PLEASANT HILL, Ore. — A local crew that helped restore power on the East Coast has returned home.

Pleasant Hill’s Franklin Contracting sent 50 workers, 10 trucks, a bucket truck, two chippers and two excavators to New Jersey. There they helped local utilities turn electricity back on for storm victims.

“It was one of those things where everyone has plans this time of year, we’ve got things going on, but it was amazing, with our crew I don’t think – well I know we didn’t have one employee that did not want to go,” said Gerald Franklin, Franklin Contracting President.

These are pictures the crew took while they were in New Jersey.
