Groups are practicing as we speak to get every step right for Friday’s 19th annual Dance for a Reason.
This year all the money raised will go to the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide, or ELAW.
Nearly 20 troupes will take part in the dance extravaganza. Participants say the benefit is two-fold.
“It’s an opportunity for me to perform, because that’s what I love to do. But it’s also an opportunity to support the community and bring the community together through the arts, which I definitely support,” said choreographer Adrienne Wise.
The event will also collect donations for Food for Lane County.
Tickets are still on sale at the Hult Center box office.
