EUGENE, Ore. — For a second day local school districts like Springfield, Bethel and 4J canceled classes.
At Sheldon High School’s parking lot, it’s clear that students, parents and teachers would have a tough time making it through.
“Sometimes the decision isn’t quite as easy, but the past couple of days here it’s been pretty clear. We’ve had a lot of snow and it’s hard for people to even get out of their driveways in some cases,” said 4J School District spokesperson Kerry Delf.
Springfield and 4J have yet to make a decision about whether school will be in session Friday.
But Bethel already had a planned furlough day, so students there got an extra few days of spring break.
The districts aren’t sure yet whether the two days missed will have to be added to the end of the year.
