Over 20 breeds of young hens were on sale and the visitors got the chance to feed the alpacas and cashmere goats.
The owner says the community was very receptive to learning more about farm animals.
“I think events like this are very much in demand with the city ordinance passing you can have all those chickens and different animals in the city now. There’s a lot of people that are having chickens that never had before,” said Pam Basilius, A Peaceful Sanctuary – The Farm Owner.
The Eugene Backyard Farmer also had a booth set up selling various farm items.
