The race consisted of two different courses, a 5K and 15K. Both tracks were on the Ruth Bascom River Trail. Although it was raining, many runners said the rain helped cool them down. After the race, participants headed inside for lunch.
Event organizers said the turnout for this race was great, but not as big as some of the other races they’ve hosted in the last year.
“We had 120 people today that ran, and our races vary anywhere between 100 and 1,000 people,” said race coordinator James Houghton.
This is the third run of 2013 organized by Eclectic Edge Racing.
