FALL CREEK, Ore. — Multiple agencies worked to pull a driver from the Winberry Creek on Tuesday. He lost control of his logging truck around 6:30 p.m. and went into the water. Investigators say they’re not sure what happened but they had to go into creek to get the driver out.
“He was trapped in the cab of the vehicle. It took some extrication to get him, get his leg loose and out,” said Keith Hoen, Lowell Rural Fire Chief.
The driver refused treatment at the scene but did go to the hospital with an injury to his ankle.
