Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Evening Forecast Discussion:
A nice hump day (Woo woo! Love that camel commercial) with some chilly temps in the upper 30s this morning and fog, but back to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Tonight, its back to mostly clear through most of the night, and fog filling back into the valleys early in the morning. Lows again will be chilly, falling to the upper 30s.
Tomorrow will have more afternoon cloud cover because of a weakening cold front moving (and breaking up) over the Coast Range. The best chance to see some showers make it to the ground will be along the central and northern coastline. Some sprinkles inland are possible by late afternoon but I’m not expecting more than that. Highs should still be able to climb into the low 60s.
Friday it’s back to sunny afternoons after a foggy start. Saturday another weak system tries to move across the state. I’m not expecting it so bring more than a slight chance for some isolated showers in the evening. By Sunday and most of early next week, we’ll have high pressure locked in, so sunny skies and finally highs getting back into the upper 60s and low 70s.
Have a great Thursday!
