LOWELL, Ore. — The Oregon Red Cross is helping a Lowell family after their house went up in flames early Sunday morning.
Twenty firefighters responded to the blaze at 183 Wetleau Drive around 3 a.m. It took them almost an hour to control the fire.
The fire displaced a family of three adults and four children. No one was hurt.
No word on the cause of the fire. The Lowell Rural Fire Protection District estimates the fire caused $400,000 worth of damage.
The Red Cross is helping with temporary food and shelter.
