LTD to Begin Selling Ticket Books

EUGENE, Ore. — Things just got a bit more convenient for people who occasionally use the LTD bus system.

Starting Monday October 1, the Lane Transit District will sell 10 ride ticket books.

Each ticket is good for one fare and two tickets can be used for a one-day pass.

The district says the 10-pass book is good for those who sometimes use bus service, but not enough to buy the one-month or three-month pass.

“We really think that it will be attractive to a lot of customers and fill that in between for people who maybe don’t want to pay the full cash fair or maybe don’t ride it enough to justify buying a monthly pass,” said LTD spokesman Andy Vobora.

The ticket books cost $16 for adults and $8 for youth and half-fare program participants.
