EUGENE, Ore. — Life for 16-year-old Ally Mock isn’t always easy.
She’s fighting cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening condition that affects the lungs.
Thursday, Ally had a day she won’t soon forget, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The staff at Walmart gave Ally a shopping spree fit for a princess. After that, Ally’s day continued with lunch at Chili’s and then a party at Fred Meyer Jewelers.
Since 1983, the Oregon chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted the wishes of more than 2,900 kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
