EUGENE, Ore. — The Valley River Center and the Gateway Mall merchants will open their doors Wednesday night to hand out treats to costumed children.
Adults are encouraged to wear costumes, but please leave the masks and face paint for the little ones.
The festivities at both malls begin at 6 p.m., and will run until 8 p.m. at the Valley River Center and 9 p.m. at Gateway.
Another place taking part in trick or treating is the Springfield City Hall. Kids can go from department to department, including the library. A magician and balloon artist will also be on hand to add to the fun. The event is free and runs from 3:30-5 p.m.
