SUTHERLIN, Ore. — Sutherlin police officers arrested a man in possession of meth and a restricted martial arts “butterfly” knife.
Officers say they tried to pull over Roy Byrd, also known as “Dandy,” for a traffic violation. Byrd jumped out of his mini-van while it was moving. The van narrowly missed a nearby resident and crashed into a fence.
An officer eventually caught up to Byrd and arrested him.
