Man Arrested for Breaking Into Elkton Business

ELKTON, Ore. — A Roseburg man racked up a long list of charges this weekend after Douglas County sheriff’s deputies say he broke into an Elkton business.

David Schlenker is accused of burglarizing the Independent Forest Association Nursery.

He allegedly took a computer, computer monitor and a pickup, and then broke into the home of an employee who lives on the property.

She says he took several guns, a chainsaw, laptop computer and jewelry.

Deputies caught up with Schlenker the next day.
