CORVALLIS, Ore. — Corvallis police say a man tried to buy his way out of a traffic ticket.
An officer pulled Brian Henshaw over Wednesday morning for not obeying a stop sign.
The officer says as he was writing the citation, Henshaw offered him money. He refused the bribe, gave Henshaw the ticket, then reported the incident.
Police later interviewed Henshaw and arrested him.
Bribe giving is a felony.
