Man Arrested for Flashing Gun on I-5

SALEM, Ore. — A man from the Springfield area was arrested and accused of displaying a gun in front of other drivers while on Interstate 5.

According to Oregon State Police, troopers responded to multiple calls of a person in a green Pontiac southbound on I-5 near Salem flashing a firearm at other motorists late Monday afternoon. One driver followed the Pontiac and provided an OSP Command Center with updated locations until troopers could locate the vehicle.

Troopers located and stopped the Pontiac on the interstate south of Albany and arrested 20-year-old Andrew Delorme, from Springfield. He’s now charged with three counts of menacing and one count of unlawful use of a firearm.
