Man Dies in ATV Accident

MYRTLE POINT, Ore. — The Coos County Sheriff’s Office says a man died Saturday after he was pinned down by an ATV early that morning.

Investigators think 33-year-old Daniel B. Farmer, of Myrtle Point, may have over-corrected, causing the ATV to overturn.

They say it doesn’t appear a seat belt was used.

Farmer was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
