NORTH BEND, Ore. — Students at North Bend High School will now have to take mandatory drug tests. “The World” newspaper reports that the school board approved the drug testing policy Monday night. The new rule applies to all students involved in extra-curricular activities.
Students will have to submit to a test before participating in any activities as well as at random intervals. The testing will reportedly cost the school district $8,000 to $9,000 a year.
