EUGENE – The University of Oregon has announced that quarterback Marcus Mariota and center Hroniss Grasu will return to school for the 2014 season.
Both were named to the All-Pac-12 First Team for the second straight season. Mariota was considered a top-5 prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft, had he chosen to leave school. Grasu is considered the top center prospect in the 2015 NFL Draft, and would have been a high pick in the 2014 NFL Draft if he had decided to go pro.
Mariota will be a junior in 2014, while Grasu will be a senior.
Juniors Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and De’Anthony Thomas have not announced their plans for next season. Both are considered potential 1st round draft picks, if they choose to leave school and enter the NFL Draft.
