SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Mayor Christine Lundberg will deliver her State of the City address on Wednesday, January 16th.

The City of Springfield starts the new year off strong.

Last November, voters approved Measure 20-195, a five-year levy for Springfield jail operations and police services.

Voters also passed the Willamalane Parks and Recreation District Bond Measure 20-199. The bond provides $20 million over the next two decades to improve parks, trails and other natural wildlife areas.

Economic development continues to grow in the downtown area, but is there room for more improvement?

Mayor Lundberg’s 2013 State of the City address is Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Springfield City Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
