PHILOMATH, Ore. — The Philomath School District hopes voters will pass a levy that would allocate more funds to them.
The school district has made several big cuts and has more to face.
The levy would help to minimize impacts on class size, school days and instructional time. It would help diminish cuts in physical education, music, foreign language and advanced college classes.
The Philomath School District estimates the levy will raise nearly $3 million over five years.
