ALBANY, Ore. — The families of two fallen soldiers from western Oregon have waited a long time to get a special memorial for their loved ones.

At the American Legion in Albany, two memorial highway signs were unveiled Monday.

Lance Corporal Tyler Troyer, of Tangent, and Specialist Eric McKinley, of Philomath, both lost their lives in Iraq in 2004 and 2005.
