Men Arrested for Black Friday Theft

EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene police arrested two men who allegedly tried stealing merchandise from a car on Black Friday at the Fred Meyer on Division Avenue.

A security guard told police he saw Joseph Dexter and Donavan Lacoste breaking into a truck just after 5 a.m.

Both men were charged with theft and breaking into a car.

A third man was also cited for possession of a theft device.
