Monday’s Weather Discussion from Meteorologist Melissa Frey:
We’ve got just one more day of clear blue skies and above average temperatures before the next storm moves in. High temperatures Monday will top out near 75°.
An area of low pressure is slowly making its way east, set to move on-shore Tuesday. This will bring back the clouds, cooler air, along with showers. Thundershowers are possible in the valley, across the Cascades and in central Oregon Tuesday afternoon and evening. Highs will stay in the upper 60s. Wednesday will be a touch cooler and we’ll see scattered showers for most of the day.
By Thursday that storm will be on to the east and high pressure will return. Thursday will be the transition day with partly sunny skies and highs near 70°. By the weekend we should be mostly sunny with highs near 80°.
Have a great Monday!
