Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion:
A cold front moved through Sunday night, increasing clouds across the area and bringing a few light showers. Light showers will continue Monday morning, but quickly end as sunshine returns this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the low 60s along the coast and near 70 degrees inland.
We’ll stay dry for the first part of Tuesday. Clouds will increase during the afternoon as a storm moves down along the coast and then inland Tuesday night. Isolated showers will return across the area Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday night. This storm is bringing in some cold air aloft, which increases instability and may spark a few thunderstorms. Tuesday night and Wednesday.
The storm will move slowly to the east, calming down the weather. Expect partly sunny skies Thursday through the weekend with temperatures climbing into the mid 60s along the coast and mid to upper 70s inland.
Have a great Memorial Day!
